I am a lifelong Beloit resident. Growing up in Beloit made me who I am. I graduated from the School District of Beloit in 2011. I took a few years off from school and then decided to attend UW-Rock County. I received my Associate’s in 2016 and then my Bachelor’s in Psychology from UW-Whitewater in 2018.

Upon graduating from college, I served as a volunteer coordinator and shelter advocate working with survivors of domestic violence. I currently work with kids addressing a variety of needs from anxiety to coping mechanisms. I ensure our kids have the skills needed to be successful in life.

I have had the honor of serving on the Beloit City Council since 2017 and am currently serving my third term. I have served as both Vice-President and President.

Over the last five years on the Council, I have served on the Landmarks Commission, the Appointment Review Committee, and the Municipal Library Board. My current committees are the Alcohol Beverage License Control Committee and the Downtown Beloit Association.

With my vast experience serving in local government, I am ready to take the next step to serve and bring positive changes to our local communities.

  • I am fighting for access to healthcare in Wisconsin. Our Legislators are keeping 91,000 Wisconsinites from having BadgerCare. I will fight to accept the Medicaid expansion dollars and put politics aside to get it done.
  • We need to have nonpartisan redistricting in Wisconsin. Our maps are drawn by politicians in Madison looking to draw safe seats to prevent them from being held accountable. I will push for an independent commission to draw maps and ensure they are protected from outside political influence.
  • Local elected officials know what's best for their communities. Our State Legislature has repeatedly stripped away local control. The needs of Monticello are different from the needs of Beloit. I will fight to allow local officials the flexibility to tackle the issues unique to their communities.
I am very passionate about voting rights and democracy. I want to make sure that your vote matters. We must start by eliminating barriers to those who wish to cast a ballot. I also want to implement non-partisan redistricting and ranked choice voting. Both policies will reduce the level of toxicity that so many are tired of.

Another area is local control. State government should work in collaboration with, not in opposition to local governments. Local leaders know what's best for their communities

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Wisconsin

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
