Bosca was an independent candidate for District 39 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Incumbents Charlotte Vandervalk and Robert Schroeder ran unopposed in the Republican Primary on June 7. Michael Wilson and Sara Adele Higgins were also seeking the party nomination, however, both Wilson and Higgins were removed from the ballot when their candidacies were found invalid by the Secretary of State's office in late April.[1]
