Clinton Collamore, Sr.
Clinton Collamore, Sr. (Democratic Party) (also known as Clint) was a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 45. He assumed office on December 6, 2022. He left office on February 15, 2023.
Collamore (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Maine House of Representatives to represent District 45. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Collamore resigned in February 2023 after he was accused of forging signatures to qualify for election funds.[1]
Biography
Clinton Collamore Sr. lives in Waldoboro, Maine. Collamore earned a B.S. from the University of Maine at Augusta in 2009. His career experience includes working as a lobsterman.[2]

Noteworthy events
Collamore indicted on signature forgery
In December 2022, Collamore was indicted for 20 counts of aggravated forgery, 11 counts of unsworn falsification, and one count of violating the Maine Clean Election Act. Collamore allegedly forged the signatures of at least 24 individuals so he could receive public financing for his campaign. Collamore declined to comment on the indictment.[3][1]
Maine House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross (D) called on Collamore to resign. She subsequently stripped him of his one committee assignment.[4] On February 15, 2023, Collamore resigned from the Maine House of Representatives.[1]
