Clinton Desjarlais was a 2012 Independent write-in candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the At-Large Congressional District of Alaska. He previously was an Independent candidate for District 14 of the Alaska State Senate.

Desjarlais ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Alaska's at-large District. Desjarlais ran as an independent candidate in the general election on November 6, 2012, which was won by incumbent Don Young (R).[1][2]

2010

Desjarlais was defeated by incumbent Republican Lesil McGuire in the November 2 general election.[3]
