My name is CJ Kettle. I have lived in Bosque Farms for 6 years, and I have been married for 13 years to a wonderful woman, and have an 8 year old daughter. I work for Wagner Equipment Company in Albuquerque, NM as the Power Systems Rental Service Manager for all of Wagner over 3 states.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management, and I have successfully run a multi-million dollar retail store, and currently manage an $80-million rental fleet daily.

I am dedicated to helping the Village grow back into what it once was, to help spur economic growth with the help of the other council members and to help figure out how to address the growing needs of the Village.
  • Transparency - the Village council needs to work on transparency to the Village to allow residents to know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed. This will be an ongoing struggle, and I am hoping to help bring some direction on to how that can best happen.
  • Accountability - Good or bad, Village staff, council members and other parties or employees need to be accountable for their actions, and not work beyond their scope of responsibility. As a council member, there are restrictions on what a council member may or may not do, and that needs to be clearly communicated to all parties.
  • Focused on our Future - I am focused on trying to help out small village come fully into the 21st century, and it will requite months, if not years, of collaboration and work by all members of the administration to bring it to fruition. The website desperately needs updated, as well as better navigation and access to public records. The wastewater plant is hanging by a thread and needs addressed as soon as possible, along with other critical infrastructure updates.
Finances in particular. The village needs to find a more stable and increased source of GRT funding to fund the necessary repairs, as well as continue to seek federal and state funding. Without money coming in, we cannot have money going out.
My grandfather. He has always been an example to me, and I hope one day to be half the man he is.
Honesty and transparency. We have to be honest about what is needed, and what can be accomplished with what the administration already has.
To manage the finances correctly, and work with the Village staff to work on getting everything back running smoothly.
I was in 7th grade when 9/11 happened. I remember watching it on the TV in my classroom.
I started out as a diesel mechanic for two years, and then moved away to finish schooling. At that time I was employed by O'Reilly Auto Parts, where I worked for 7.5 years, 5.5 of which were as a store manager.
It's a series, the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. It's just a darn good read.
I don't think government experience is needed, but someone in this office needs to understand the basics of business and treat the Village as a business to help it grow.
Graduating high school with my Associates degree. Also proud of working my way into my current position and the trust placed in me with that.
