Cloria Brown
Cloria Brown (b. May 29, 1942) was a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 94 from 2015 to 2018. She passed away on March 18, 2018, after a fight with cancer.[1]
Brown served in the House previously, representing District 85 from 2011 to 2013.
Biography
Brown's professional experience included the following: vice president at MasterCard International, Inc; manager at Statistical Tabulating Corporation; manager at Wohl Shoe Company; systems analyst at Statistical Tabulating Corporation; clerk typist at Universal Printing Company; and clerk typist at Von Hoffman Press, Inc.
Brown earned her B.S. in information systems at Washington University in 1978.

No New Taxes Pledge
A minority of Missouri lawmakers signed the 2011 edition of the "No New Taxes Pledge." The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is offered by the nonprofit lobbying organization Americans for Tax Reform with the goal of opposing all tax increases as a matter of principle. Just one out of 34 state Senate members signed the 2011 pledge. Out of 163 state House members, only 38 lawmakers signed.
