Clyde McKnight, Jr.
Clyde D. McKnight, Jr. was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 31 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.[1] McKnight was previously a candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2012.
Biography
McKnight's professional experience includes working as a building director at New River Health Association, treasurer at West Virginia Black Lung Clinic Association, coach at Liberty High School and treasurer at the West Virginia AFL-CIO.
Elections
2014
Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. Clyde McKnight, Jr. was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Karen "Lynne" Arvon was unopposed in the Republican primary. Arvon defeated McKnight in the general election.[1]
2012
Mcknight ran in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 31. Mcknight defeated Melvin Kessler in the May 8 primary election and was defeated by Karen "Lynne" Arvon in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]
