Clyde Frederick Shannon, Jr. (1942-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Shannon was nominated to the Western District of Texas by President Jimmy Carter on December 19, 1979, to a seat vacated by Dorwin Suttle; he was confirmed by the Senate on June 18, 1980, and received commission that same day. He served the Western District of Texas until his resignation on January 1, 1984.[1] Shannon was succeeded in this position by Edward Prado.
