Cole Blease
Cole Blease was a judge of the California 3rd District Court of Appeal. He assumed office on June 14, 1979. He left office on June 7, 2022.
Blease ran for re-election for judge of the California 3rd District Court of Appeal. He won in the retention election on November 6, 2018.
He was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown and took his oath of office on June 14, 1979.[1][2]
Education
Blease received his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1952, and his law degree from the UC Berkeley School of Law in 1955.[3][4]
Career
Blease was a legislative advocate from 1957 to 1974 before going into private practice in Sacramento in 1967. He was in private practice until his appointment to the California Third District Court of Appeal in 1979. He has also served as a justice pro tem on the California Supreme Court.[3][4]
