What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
“ | 1) Spending |
” |
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?
“ | State Spending: I believe California's current spending levels and inefficiency are unsustainable. Furthermore, despite having some of the highest taxes in the nation, California has hundreds of billions in outstanding bills and debt. I want to push for meaningful solutions to these issues and I will advocate for further review of state spending plans to make certain efficiency is the primary goal of state government. Jobs and the Economy: The current regulatory environment creates too much red tape and stifles greater prosperity and economic opportunity for Californians. I also believe it is important for the California's government to work with the private sector to develop well paying and sustainable jobs. Housing: Lack of quality and affordable housing is a huge issue in California, and nobody in Sacramento is taking steps to credibly solve the problem, and local governments are not stepping up to do their part. I want to promote the creation of incentives for local governments and accelerate the land use approval process to boost construction productivity and job creation.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[3]
