Bennet ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Connecticut's 2nd District. Bennet ran as a Green Party candidate. He faced incumbent Joe Courtney (D), Paul M Formica (R), and Dan Reale (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1] Courtney was re-elected on November 6, 2012.[2]
