Born and raised in District 36, I come from a family deeply rooted in the community. A representative’s responsibility is to give voice to the concerns of ALL neighbors, valuing diverse perspectives in decision-making. Aligned with Kennedy economics, and a more centrist view politically; I prioritize hard work, empathy, and equal opportunities for success. I advocate for retaining Louisville-generated funds to invest in our community, emphasizing efficient fund management instead of tax increases. I am committed to fostering unity, representing ALL voices, and ensuring the prosperity of our community through compassionate, principled and unwavering representation to yield results. Communities become better and stronger when we work together, and when you have someone representing all people - not just half of the community. The time for division is over. It is imperative that we unite as a community and transcend divisive lines. The era of political discord among neighbors must come to an end if we genuinely seek transformative change both at the community level and through impactful legislation. Let us embrace a shared vision, working collaboratively to build bridges that foster understanding, cooperation, and progress. Together, we can usher in an era where unity prevails, paving the way for positive and inclusive change that benefits everyone in our community and set an example for those around us.
  • Community Safety: As a candidate, I am committed to championing increased police presence in our neighborhoods to effectively reduce crime. I firmly believe that community safety begins first at the neighborhood level, eventually rolling up to the state level, where we must advocate for and secure the necessary funding for the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD). A well-funded and supported police force is essential for maintaining a secure environment for all residents for our district/community.
  • Direct Tax Reinvestment: There is no excuse for Jefferson County not to be the wealthiest county in the state, and we should demand nothing short of the best for our community. It's time to be unapologetically bold in our pursuit of excellence, channeling our resources back into the heart of our district for the benefit of every resident. Together, I will fight continuously to ensure Jefferson County is the shining example of what can be achieved when we prioritize our own success. This starts with reinvesting the funds generated by Jefferson County right back into our own backyard. It's time to ensure that our county, including our district, stands as a beacon of prosperity in Kentucky.
  • Balance freedom of business and public health: Our community has transformed into a primarily residential haven, yet archaic zoning laws jeopardize the safety and well-being of our residents, especially our children. It's time to confront the outdated regulations that allow businesses to operate dangerous machinery and large trucks in residential neighborhoods. Our children deserve the freedom to enjoy outdoor activities without the looming threat of danger. I am unwavering in my commitment to cut through the red tape and update these obsolete zoning laws. While supporting businesses to thrive, it must be done responsibly, ensuring the safety of our air and the quality of life for every resident.
Safety, Reinvestment, Infrastructure, Representation of all residents, and working with both republican and democratic leadership to ensure we receive the best for our community.
I am not just a candidate; I am a representative of the people, committed to ensuring every voice is heard. My dedication to unity, community safety, responsible business practices, and equitable community investment will drive my decisions as your officeholder, fostering a positive and thriving future for District 36.
To represent every community member, regardless of political party.
