  • West Virginians deserve a more affordable West Virginia. The price of groceries is too expensive, the cost of living is too high, and the minimum wage is too low. Many West Virginians who live in border counties choose to work out-of-state so they can make more money than they would in West Virgina. The state government acts upon corporate and establishment interests while overlooking the needs and interests of working people. We need leaders who will put West Virginians first and Washington D.C. last.
  • The freedom of West Virginians must be protected. West Virginians must be free to live and make decisions for their own without the government stepping in. Schools in West Viginia must be given better funding and resources to ensure students are provided adequate education. The state government should care about people over party. Republicans and Democrats should work together in the House of Delegates to make real progress for West Virginians instead of just focusing on party agendas.
  • West Virgina needs to be a safer place. The state needs to give proper support for law enforcement to conduct their duties across West Virginia. Programs for first responders and law enforcement to better mentally recover from traumatic situations is essential saving families, careers, and lives. Municipalities must be given proper support from the state so that communities can have quick and effective police response. Criminal Justice reform must be implemented. Marijuana should be decriminalized and ideally should be legal. Prisons and jails that are overstaffed shouldn't be filled up with people for marijuana charges.
I am personally passionate about education policy, criminal justice reform, and a people-centered economy.
