Five seats on the Lucia Mar Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Trustee Area 1 incumbent Chad Robertson, Trustee Area 2 incumbents Colleen Martin and Mark Millis and Trustee Area 3 incumbent Vern Dahl ran unopposed and won re-election to four-year terms. Trustee Area 4 incumbent Don Stewart also ran unopposed, but as he was appointed to his seat, he was re-elected to a two-year term. Because each seat up for election was unopposed, this election did not appear on the ballot.[3]
Results
This election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Trustee Area 1 incumbent Chad Robertson, Trustee Area 2 incumbents Colleen Martin and Mark Millis and Trustee Area 3 incumbent Vern Dahl won re-election to four-year terms by default. Trustee Area 4 incumbent Don Stewart won re-election to a two-year term by default.[3]
Funding
Martin filed Form 470 with the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder, indicating she did not intend to raise or spend more than $1,000 for her 2014 campaign. Because of this, Martin did not have to file any additional campaign finance reports.[4]
