Colon School District Bond Measures, 2 (September 2010)

Two Colon School District Bond Measures were on the September 14, 2010 ballot in the Colon school district which is in St. Joseph County.

Both measures were approved Bond 1:

  • YES 681 (58.91%)Approveda
  • NO 475 (41.09%)

Bond 2:

  • YES 580 (50.61%) Approveda
  • NO 566 (49.39%)[1]

These two measure sought to create a bond totaling $15 million in order to help with equipping, remodeling and renovating the middle/High school buildings in the district area. A similar measure was defeated in May of 2010.[2]
