Incumbent: No
Submitted Biography: "I am a Coloradoan that would like to see more solutions and less quibbling over party loyalty. Congress is in complete paralysis over their inaction and disfunction. Both Republicans and Democrats are to blame. However, we are left with day to day struggling instead of relying on our representatives to help guide our government to helpful, meaningful changes that make our lives better."

Tim Veldhuizen (Unaffiliated)
Safety- We should be able to rely on government to provide a safe and secure environment in which to thrive. When rights are protected and systems are fair, trust grows and communities stay strong.
Innovation- Innovation keeps us strong when its guided by evidence and smart planning . Science helps us prepare early and act decisively when the facts are clear. In energy and healthcare, progress should improve what works, expand access and scale proven solutions.
Tim Veldhuizen (Unaffiliated)
Neither the Republicans nor Democrats have bother to pass a viable budget in 30 years. The result is astronomically rising federal debts. We must address our spending issues in order to pass on a viable country to our future generations.Congress must live up to the authority granted it by the constitution. Currently congress has abdicated its authority. Our constitution is based on a 3 party system where each branch checks and balances the others. One of the branches is missing and needs to act as the constitution indicates.

General election race ratings
- See also: Race rating definitions and methods
Ballotpedia provides race ratings from four outlets: The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and DDHQ/The Hill. Each race rating indicates if one party is perceived to have an advantage in the race and, if so, the degree of advantage:
- Safe and Solid ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge and the race is not competitive.
- Likely ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge, but an upset is possible.
- Lean ratings indicate that one party has a small edge, but the race is competitive.[2]
- Toss-up ratings indicate that neither party has an advantage.
Race ratings are informed by a number of factors, including polling, candidate quality, and election result history in the race's district or state.[3][4][5]
