The Ban on Fracking Amendment did not appear on the November 8, 2016, ballot in Colorado as an initiated constitutional amendment. The sponsor of the petition, Coloradans Resisting Extreme Energy Development (CREED) pulled it from consideration from the 2016 ballot.[1]
The measure would have amended the state constitution to ban the use of hydraulic fracturing in oil and gas development.[2]
