The Colorado Global Day Without Violence Initiative did not appear on the 2010 state ballot in Colorado as an initiated constitutional amendment.
The ballot measure proposed amending the state constitution. Specifically, the initiative would have amended Article XXVI to call for a "global day without violence" every year on January 1.[1]

In order to qualify the proposed measure for the 2010 ballot a minimum of 76,047 valid signatures were required. The signature filing deadline for the 2010 ballot in Colorado for initiated constitutional amendments was August 2, 2010.[2] However, as of petition deadline day no signatures were filed.
