A Colorado Springs Excess Property Tax Measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Colorado Springs, which is in El Paso County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 89,367 (71.04%)Approveda
  • NO 36,424 (28.96%)[1]

This measure asked voters if they wanted the city to return excess property taxes in the amount of $600,000. The city requested to retain the funds for further city budget uses. Had the measure been defeated, residents would have seen a $3 one time refund on their next utility bill.[2]
