July 31, 2011
Wisconsin: After 12 years on the bench, Judge James Miller, has retired and had his last day as a Columbia County judge on Friday, July 29. Judge Miller won the seat in 1999 after former Judge Lewis Charles stepped down from the position. Prior to this he worked with his brother as an attorney at Miller and Miller law firm in Portage. Of his time on the bench, Judge Miller said he was glad he ran and stated, "I've got lots of memories - some good, some bad."[1]
