Missouri: The Columbia attorney Michael Bradley has been named as the new associate circuit judge for the 13th Circuit Court, which has jurisdiction over Boone and Callaway counties. Bradley is filling a seat which has been vacant for seven months.[1]

Governor Jay Nixon made the appointment stating,

“His experience as a prosecutor, as a judge, as legal counsel and as a private practice attorney will help him be a very capable judge for one of the state’s largest counties. I am pleased to appoint him to the bench.”[1]

The vacancy had been created by the retirement of Boone County Circuit Presiding Judge Gene Hamilton and the elevation of Christine Carpenter to the Circuit Court.[1]
