This measure was approved
- YES 2,429 (73.43%)

- NO 879 (26.57%)[1]
This measure asked voters if they wanted to extend the 1 percent sales tax that was due to expire in April of 2010. This measure will extend the tax for a further seven years and will be used mainly to maintain and upgrade streets and capital improvements.[2]
