Committee for Small Government

The Committee for Small Government is a Massachusetts-based political organization that advocates for smaller government.

It is led by libertarians Michael Cloud and Carla Howell.

Ballot initiative involvement

In 2008, the Committee for Small Government sponsored the State Income Tax Repeal Initiative, which was defeated with a 29.5% Yes to 66.7% No vote.[1] In 2002, they sponsored a similar initiative which failed with 38.89% voting for the initiative and 48.22% voting against it.[2]
