The Committee on Energy and Environment was a standing committee of the Hawaii State Senate.

Function

The 2013 Hawaii Senate rules described the function of this committee as outlined below.

The purview of this committee includes those programs relating to energy resources, including the development of alternative energy resources; population; and environmental quality control and protection, including litter control, recycling, wastewater treatment, endangered species, invasive species and hazardous waste.[1][2]
