Community Development, Housing and Tribal Affairs Committee, Washington House of Representatives (decommissioned)
The Community Development, Housing and Tribal Affairs Committee was a standing committee of the Washington House of Representatives. This committee was reorganized from the Community and Economic Development and Trade Committee.
Function
In 2014, the Washington State Legislature described the function of this committee as outlined below.
“ | The House Community Development, Housing & Tribal Affairs Committee considers issues relating to community development, veterans, tourism and the government-to-government relationship of the state and Indian tribes. The committee also considers bills relating to housing, including the accessibility and affordability of housing, state assistance to low-income housing, housing authorities and the Housing Finance Commission.
