Comstock Park School District Bond Measures, 2 (February 2011)
Two Comstock Park School District Bond Measures were on the February 22, 2011 ballot in the Comstock Park school district area which is in Kent County.
Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $21.53 million in order to help pay for new buses, upgrading technology, remodeling and refurbishing school facilities as needed. A levy of 3.08 mills would also be added so as to help pay for the bond.
The second measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $7.79 million in order to help pay for a performing arts center and gymnasium for the high school. A levy of $1.06 per $1,000 of assessed property value would also be added to help pay for the bond.[1]
