Connecticut GOP AG candidate wins conservative endorsements
June 5, 2010
HARTFORD, Connecticut: Nearly two weeks after receiving the nomination of Connecticut Republican Party at its State Convention located in Hartford, Attorney General candidate Martha Dean picked up the endorsement of three major state conservative organizations - the Connecticut Citizens Defense League, the Family Institute of Connecticut, and Right Principles.[1][2]
Dean is the first ever candidate vying for a statewide governmental position to receive the endorsement of the Family Institute of Connecticut, an interdenominational, conservative 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization founded in 1989.[3] The group's specific goal is to encourage and strengthen the family as the foundation of society and to promote Judeo-Christian ethical and moral values in the culture and government throughout the state.
