Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell nominates judge for Appellate Court

Connecticut: Governor M. Jodi Rell of Connecticut has nominated Judge Stuart David Bear of the Middlesex District Superior Court to fill the vacancy on the Connecticut Appellate Court. The vacancy will be left by Chief Appellate Judge Joseph Flynn when he takes senior status. Chief Justice Chase Rogers has appointed Judge Alexandra DiPentima to take on the role of Chief Appellate Judge. Governor Rell announced the nomination after hearing of Flynn's coming retirement saying, "Judge Bear will make an outstanding addition to the Appellate Court."[1]
