HARTFORD, Connecticut: The Regulations Review Committee of the Connecticut General Assembly is scheduled to vote on a range of proposed regulations dealing with medical marijuana. The regulations cover a wide range, from background checks for caregivers of patients to quantities of active ingredients in a product.[1]
Some members of the committee have concerns about approving regulations for medical marijuana, which violates federal drug laws, fearing that state employees and distributors involved could be liable.[1]
