September 10, 2009
NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut: The Connecticut Working Families Party held a meeting on August 29, 2009 to discuss issues with and hear from candidates in the Democratic Party that intend to run for state governor.
The party, which according to reports has been on the ballot for offices in the state since 2002, has never been on the ballot for a statewide race such as governor. The part expects to run for a statewide office in 2010, but can also choose to endorse a Democratic or Republican nominee.[1]
