I work in web design and tech support from my home in Salmon, idaho. I raised a successful family and we all excel in sience and technology. I have a broad edication and bring a unique perspective to issues which lands me squarely in the middle on most topics.
  • Education is key to quality of life in Idaho.
  • Addressing climate change will create the most imazing opportunities for people and save us from the tyrany of extreme energy costs.
  • If we are truly rebels in Idaho then we need to always vote out incumbants. That's where our power lies.
Eduction and infrastructure. Give the good people of Idaho the tools we need to thrive and we'll take care of the rest. Small businesses and regular people should get first considerations with regulations in place to protect good folks and the environment from corporate greed.
Representative John Lewis. He showed us what it's like to face adversity with kindness and grace.
No. I don't have a fixed philosophy. I've learned in life that there is always value in looking deeply into the multiple sides of issues. There are no easy answers and everything changes.
Not radical. On either side. Elected officials need to be able to dive into the complicated grey areas of life. Radical beliefs keep humans from being able to see what's true and what's possible.
I am a great researcher and can go deep into issues to understand the complexities involved. I am rarely confused by rhetoric and marketing.
Yes. You gotta show up. This is a job that takes an emense amount of time. Reaching out for ideas and answers, researching issues, and showing up to bring it all into the debate.
Bringing Idaho back to the middle.
Moon Landing. July 20, 1969. Watching it on a black and white TV in my grandmother's living room. It taught what we can accomplish together and sparked all the technology we have today.
9300 Steak House in Lakewood Colorado. Three years serving the best ateaks in the county.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Novel by Thomas Hardy. It taught me that no matter how good and beautiful you are you will be destroyed by an unjust system.
Put the lime in the coconut... drink it all up.
Finances. As a single mother raising 3 children I know what it's like to be stuck in an impossible economic situation.
Transparancy. Without hidden agendas both will be willing to listen to the other.
We need to push the Republican party out of its stance of radicalism and back to governing for the good of the people. Democrats also need to be pushed towards the middle where real governing can occur. We are good people out here in Idaho. Treat us that way!
It certainly would be good in an ideal atmosphere. But right now we need to get rid of the old fogies. We need leaders who understand technology and have a good vision of the future. Enough doom and gloom.
Definitely. In today's atmosphere those relationships may be controversial. But dialoge is necessary for everyone to be heard.
Idaho has a unique landscape. The shape of the state and central mountains creates three very different areas. Redistricting needs to always keep landscape into consideration and make districts that can interact and communicate with each other.
Again, Representatve John Lewis. He was kind and loving with a strong stance.
All the stories of people who are being hurt by our current Medical Insurance situation are particularly moving for me. There are hundreds, thousands of them, each equally moving. The number of lives we've lost in Idaho because of our mean insurance laws is staggering.
Sooo... They did a study that proved that if you start a sentence with "They did a study that proved" then people will believe whatever you say next.
Absolutely. The number one rule of democracy is that you don't always get what you want. This highlights the importance of a common desire of representatives to strive for truth and goodness. If that's under all policies then then details can be negotiated.
