Connly nominated to Northampton District Court
May 22, 2010
Northampton, Massachusetts: Clerk magistrate Jacklyn Connly, has been nominated by Gov. Patrick to a Northampton District Court judgeship. Presiding Judge Richard J. Carey said that Connly, who has worked as a clerk magistrate on the Northampton District Court since 2004, would make a "great judge". Retired judge W. Michael Ryan, whom Connly would be replacing, said she was the "perfect appointment." She now awaits confirmation to the position.
Connly holds a law degree from the Western New England College School of Law (1994). She began her career with the firm of Corash, Zurn and Belsky and moved on to the position of assistant Northampton District Court clerk in 1998. [1]
