Who are you? Tell us about yourself in 200 words or less.
Connor comes from a family of certified teachers and is the owner of Frugal Tutors, Inc., a small business dedicated to helping children succeed in school.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Connor is passionate about the ways children learn. As the owner of a tutoring business, Connor has seen the current curriculum in action with his own students. He is dedicated to bringing up every student's grades across Palm Beach County.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
My very first job was a sports photographer working with children in sports programs. I worked there for for about three years.
What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?
The first and most significant historical event that occurred in my life was the attack on the World Trade Center. I was nine years old and in the fourth grade. I lived in New York City at the time.
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
I look up to God more than anyone. I ask God for guidance in every undertaking.
Are there any little-known powers or responsibilities held by this office that you believe more people should be aware of?
School board members are all three branches of government in one body. They debate and implement policy, carry out and enforce the duties of the state, and adjudicate in areas like expulsion of students.
What qualities does this office possess that makes it a unique and important part of the state government and legal system?
School board governance in Florida is paramount because Florida sets an example for the rest of the nation. Florida has five of the top ten largest school boards in America, Palm Beach County being number ten. In total, Florida has the most students enrolled in public schools than anywhere else in the country.
Do you believe that it’s beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?
Experience in government is important and beneficial in every area of government. School boards are an entry level area of government where new people can grow and learn to do what is best for their community.
What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?
Experience with children is the most helpful tool for School Board members and candidates. Every child is unique, and understanding how to connect with each child is a skill school board members should have.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
School board members must be patient and compassionate. Each child and parent is diverse, and knowing how to connect with them will help the board members accomplish the main goal of educating children.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
School board members have several core responsibilities: balancing the school budget, enforcing the state law, approving and overseeing the curriculum. and advocating for the parents and children in their district.
Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?
I'd recommend the writings and teachings of Noah Webster. Webster was a fascinating educator and one of our founding fathers. He authored the American Dictionary of the English Language, which he published in 1828.

CEO and Master Tutor of Frugal Tutors, Inc.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
I am calm and sensible, yet relentless. I stand up and advocate for what is right and just. I have the discipline and determination to accomplish the goals of the community. I have extensive experience working with children in academics, music, dance, and sports. I understand the importance of educating children how to think critically so each child will become a productive member of society and accomplish things even I could never accomplish myself.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I seek to bring positive via a strong education that will provide them with the building blocks to lead productive lives.
What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
Growing up the the inner city of Brooklyn, NY created many obstacles during my childhood. My neighborhood was filled with, drugs, crime, and hardship. I have seen many people lose their lives because of drugs and violence, and my own brother lost his life to a Fentanyl overdose. My family tried to do the best it could to keep everyone together. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep my brother away from those terrible things. Because of these events, I struggle with the memories of my brother. I struggle because I know under the surface, he was an intelligent person with a lot of compassion.
What was the last song that got stuck in your head?
God Bless America
What is your favorite book? Why?
The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The book is less about Ben, and more about how to lead a productive life. It is America's first, real self-help book.
