Conspiracy to Have Judge Killed Thwarted

Virginia Beach, Virginia: A Virginia circuit court judge's life was in danger when a Virginia Beach jail inmate tried to hire someone to kill the judge.[1]
Police are not identifying the Circuit Court judge, but have released that 37-year-old David Hugh Hance offered a sum of $5,000.00 to have the Circuit Court judge killed.[1]
The Sheriff's Office runs the jail in which inmate David Hugh Hance is being held and when they became aware of the offer Hance was making, they immediately contacted city police on December 5th, 2011.[1]
Hance will be charged with solicitation of someone to commit capital murder for hire. He is being brought before the court on January 31st, 2012, and will have an attorney assigned for him on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012.[1]
