A mother of 5 amazing kids, a first-generation college student, Texas-born, Washington-raised. A problem solver, passionate about seeking justice, resilient, bilingual in English and Spanish, and basic ASL.
I am passionate about all the stuff listed and beyond. I'm also, passionate about seeking justice.
I looked up to my oldest brother and my mom but they passed away. I would like to follow their examples of: peace, love, respect, patience, compassion, empathy, hardworking, and their belief in God.
Read the Bible and pray a lot because God is the one that gives me: hope, peace, mercy, understanding, wisdom and so much more without deserving anything at all.
Being humble and helping people in any way that one can, but also having: respect, understanding, compassion, empathy, emotional intelligence, an education, and not thinking that anyone is above anybody else because, of a title.
I'm a problem solver, dependable, hardworking, overachiever, passionate about seeking justice, resilient, I go the extra mile to help people when ever I can, bilingual in English and Spanish, and basic ASL.
Knowing what the people need and want because that is the reason why I started, which is to help the people. I did not apply for this position just to have a title or to get a pay check to me it is about helping people because at the end of the day what matters to me is if I made a difference in a person's life for the better.
The legacy that I would like to leave is that we must never think that we are better than any one else. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Help others as much as possible without having to be asked.
Not sure at the moment.
No body by Casting Crowns, it's one of my favorites.
The death of my beautiful loving mother, and making the choice of making a difference in the lives of a great multitude of people which is why I decided to apply for this position all while doing it to honor the memory of my mother. Struggles never end in life but at the moment it is a real struggle to get funds for my campaign while being a student.
Why didn't the chicken cross the road?
My beliefs on financial transparency are that the people should have a say on where their money goes to and to have the right to see where it is going to. Government accountability, I belief that if the government is asking something from the people than the government should be able to do the same thing, because if they are promising to do one thing and then do not do it, then how are they being accountable? I believe that if someone cannot do what they say that they are going to do, that they should not make promises that they cannot keep.
