Two School District Levy Renewal measures were on the May 4, 2010 ballot in the school districts of Coon and Portland which are in Ionia County.
Both measures were approved
Coon Measure:
- YES 16
- NO 3
Portland Measure:
- YES 814
- NO 227[1]
Both measures sought to renew the 18 mill levy that is in place on non primary residential property within the district areas. Both measures will use the money collected from this tax to help pay for general operational costs of the districts.[2]
