Corey O'Connor (Democratic) is the Allegheny County Controller in Pennsylvania. He assumed office on July 11, 2022. His current term ends on January 3, 2028.

O'Connor (Democratic Party) is running for election for Mayor of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 4, 2025. He advanced from the Democratic primary on May 20, 2025.

Biography

O'Connor attended Central Catholic High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Duquesne University. His professional experience includes working as a community development representative for U.S. Representative Mike Doyle (D).[1]

2015

The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, held elections for city council on November 3, 2015. A primary took place on May 19, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 11, 2015. Five of the nine city council seats were up for election. In the primary election for District 5, incumbent Corey O'Connor faced Kimberly Kaplan. O'Connor was the winner.[2] He won re-election without opposition.[3]
