Corie Caraway is a judge of the Superior Court of Butte County in California. Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appointed Caraway to the court on November 13, 2020, to replace Barbara L. Roberts.[1]
Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Caraway's appointment on November 13, 2020, identified her as a Democrat.[1]
