Corinne Ching
Corinne Ching is a former Republican member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing the 27th District from 2002 to 2012. She is the Assistant Minority Floor Leader.
Ching was an Instructor in Kumon from 1998-2002, teacher at Ma'emae Elementary from 1992-2002, and Legislative Aide to Representative David Pendleton from 1999-2000. She has also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Seagull Schools Early Education Center, Community Liaison for Representative Quentin Kewananakoa, and teacher of English as a Second Language.
She is a member of many organizations, including the Caledonian Society of Hawaii, Catholic Women's Guild, Center for Arts, Chinatown Lion's Club, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Community Coalition for Neighborhood Safety, and the Go For Broke Foundation.[1]

Ching ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Hawaii House of Representatives District 27. Ching defeated Brian Kim in the August 11 Republican primary and was defeated by Takashi Ohno (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]

Ching won re-election to the 27th District Seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition on September 18, 2010. The general election took place on November 2, 2010. Lynn Vasquez ran against her on the Democratic ticket for this seat.[5]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Ching won re-election to the Hawaii House of Representatives from Hawaii's 27th District, defeating Sesnita Moepono (D). Ching received 4,092 votes in the election while Moepono received 3,443 votes.[6] Ching raised $29,381 for her campaign; Moepono raised $59,345.[7]
