I am Cornelius Fowler born and raised on the banks of the Everglades. My family have lived and worked in the rural communities for more than 80 years as law-enforcement officers, educators, social workers and agriculture jobs, and I am proud to be a Florida farmworker/ Truck Driver. I graduated from glades Central community high school, I also attended Palm Beach State College. I have been married to the love of my life, Kizzie for 22 years and together, we have five amazing kids, Gabrielle, Victoria, Zion, Kimberly and one son Malik. I am a member of the Lehigh Acres Democratic club the Lee County Democratic club and I’m proud to be an active union member of the international Association of machinist and Aerospace workers where I serve as vice president of local Lodge 2152 and Vice president for the machinist state council also trustee for the Palm Beach treasure Coast AFL-CIO CLC
  • Accountability Showing up for the job every day doing what’s right by the people
  • Inclusion. Working with the citizens of the community to draft bills based on the needs of the people. To communicate with the working class people, and businesses of the District
  • Unity. Working across the board. With the people of the community with community leaders. For the greater good of every citizen of the district.
The rights For every citizen to be able to make their own decisions or the health of their own bodies. Education working to make sure that public schools are well funded. organized labor to ensure that every worker has a right to organize without intimidation our union busting bills.
integrity, dignity respect of all people we must get back to a place where we are all able to work together for the greater good
I believe as an elected official it is our responsibility as leaders to always put the people first. also keeping the people informed on what’s happening at the state capital. while gathering input and advice from the citizens, inclusion has to be a priority.
The first historical event in my life happened when I was a team on my first School field trip to Washington DC where I was able to visit the naval yard see the declaration of independence to actually lay eyes on the White House was something that still stick with me till this day
My first job was at the age of 14 summertime job of landscaper I used to decorate new homes with sod. I have always been someone who works with my hands with boots on the ground this job taught me to have respect for all people, no matter what background, education or work experience
I believe as governor there should be a open door policy for any state legislator to be able to sit down and discuss issues of the state. we all have or will be elected to do a job and once elected, we have to sit party aside and come together for the greater good for all Floridians
healthcare, homeowner insurance, affordable housing, education, Industry that pays a livable wage,
I believe that it is beneficial, but not necessary. Every citizen I believe is qualified to become an elected official.
I believe it is essential for legislators to work together. It is the only way that we will get meaningful legislation past in the state.
First bill I would introduce would be to support paid early education. also to be included in that bill would be to ensure that every high school student be able to complete high school with a trade certificate, making it possible for high schools to partner with technical schools to enroll students into programs as early as 10th grade. Better preparing our students to enter the workforce are to further their education.
I believe financial transparency is a must If there is a conflict of insurance, the people should know this will help when making decisions remain honest and true
I would support a change on the amount of money it cost to file and qualify to be on the state ballot.
