Corrections and Institutions Committee, Vermont House of Representatives
The Corrections and Institutions Committee is a standing committee of the Vermont House of Representatives.
Per the House Rules, committees of the Vermont House of Representatives are assigned by the Speaker of the House unless otherwise specified by the Vermont Constitution or other state statutes. Committees are assigned at the start of each regular session. The first and secondly named members of each committee are the chair and the vice-chair, respectively. Each committee appoints a clerk from its members at the first meeting.
