Cort Arlint
Cort Arlint was a Republican candidate for Nevada Controller in the 2014 elections.
Biography
A Montana native,[1] Arlint attended the University of Montana where he earned a bachelor's in business administration in 2004.[2]
Following graduation, Arlint began his professional career auditing casinos throughout the United States as a staff accountant with the Nevada based accounting firm Egghart & Associates.[3][4]
In 2005, Arlint began attending the University of Nevada-Reno studying towards an MBA[2] At this time, he also began working with Kafoury, Armstrong & Co. as an accountant.[3] He graduated with his MBA in 2007.[2]
Following his graduation from the University of Nevada-Reno, Arlint began law school at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2007.[2] He continued to work at Kafoury, Armstong & Co. until 2008 when he started his own accounting firm. He earned his J.D. in 2010 and started a law firm. He continues to operate both his accounting and law firm.[3]
Additionally, Arlint teaches college classes about accounting, tax and business.[3]
Elections
2014
Arlint ran for Nevada Controller in the 2014 elections. He lost in the primary on June 10, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
