Cory Brown was an at-large member of the North Penn Board of Directors in Pennsylvania. The seat was up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015. He filed to run in both the Republican and Democratic primaries. Brown won the Republican nomination and advanced to the general election.[1][2] Cory Brown lost the general election on November 3, 2015.

Brown obtained his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University. He works as a senior program manager and solutions architect at Merck & Co. Inc. He is a member of the North Penn Republican Committee. He is also a coach for youth sports in his community.[3]

Five of the nine seats on the North Penn school board were up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015.

Incumbents Carolyn Murphy, John Schilling, and Suzan Leonard won re-election. Edward Diasio and Theresa Prykowski also joined the board. They defeated incumbent Cory Brown and challengers Beverly Dodds, Benjamin Litman, Patrick McGee Jr., and Tina Stoll.

All candidates filed to run in both the Republican primary and the Democratic primary.[1][4]

Leonard, Murphy, Dodds, Litman, and Stoll won the Democratic primary. Brown, Schilling, Diasio, McGee, and Prykowski were victorious in the Republican primary. No independent candidates filed to run in the general election.[2]
