County, City & Village Electrical Aggregation Questions, 4 (March 2012)
Four Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the designated areas which are in Lee County.
Two of the measures were approved.[1]
These measures seeks to allow authorities to aggregate electricity and buy it in bulk in order to obtain lower rates for residents who want to participate in the program. The areas with this measure on their ballot include the unincorporated areas of Lee county, the cities of Amboy and Dixon as well as the village of Franklin Grove.[2]

The question on the ballot:
Shall Lee County have the authority to arrange for the supply of electricity for its residential and small commercial retail customers who have not opted out of such program?[3] |
