Coupeville School District Tax Levy Renewals, 2 (February 2010)
There will be two Coupeville School District Property Tax Additions on the February 9 ballot in Island County for voters in the Coupeville school district.
The first measure seeks to replace an existing levy that is set to expire, the money from this levy is used for maintenance and operational expenses for the district. The levy would be in the amount of $.83 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further three years.
The second measure seeks to add an additional $.20 to the levy in proposition 1 in order to help fund the district's capital projects fund which goes towards buying new technology for the school. This levy would be in place for a further three years.[1]
