Court of Chancery Judge Chandler to retire

Delaware: Chancellor for the Delaware Court of Chancery, William B. Chandler III, has announced that he will retire from the court effective June 17, 2011.[1] Chandler has led the court since 1997 and he has served it for the past 25 years. He has ruled on many notable cases including challenges to the Walt Disney Company and Hewlett-Packard.[2]
Chandler is leaving to join the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as a partner.[3]
