I'm running for League City Council in the upcoming General Election to fight for YOU, the taxpayers. I've been serving for several years on the League City Volunteer Fire Department fighting fires and protecting lives and property. Now I'm ready to fight for you on city council to make sure our city maintains its status as one of the safest places to live and raise our families.
  • Set building and impact fees at the true market cost to ensure new construction pays for itself and is not subsidized by current residents. We do not need growth for growth sake; new construction must be self sufficient.
  • FINISH the bond projects. These projects were overwhelmingly approved by the citizens and no new projects should be undertaken until these are completed. Secondly, we must ensure new development pays its own way and will not create adverse flooding, traffic, or infrastructure consequences. Lastly, council must work with the County and TXDOT to finalize the plan for the Grand Parkway and fight to make sure our area receives the funding necessary to keep the road toll free.

    Debt

No new debt! The City must live within its $300 million a year budget.
  • Police Provide the funding necessary to continue to attract and retain the finest police officers. Provide them with the support, training, and equipment needed to make LC the safest city in Texas. Fire & EMS Continue our top ISO 1 rating and support our volunteer firefighters that save the city over $10 million a year. Build out our Fire and EMS services on the West side of League City.
Constraining the growth of government. Reducing property taxes. Supporting public safety.
Strong work ethic. Integrity. Passion for helping others.
I would like for League City residents to have less of a tax burden when I leave office than when I took office without sacrificing public services.
