A United States Marine veteran with almost nine years of active duty service, Courtney has been a proud Temecula resident since 2014. She is originally from Minneapolis, MN. She worked for eight years as Marketing Consultant, with a territory that spanned five states.

In 2010, Courtney enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served board three California bases as a Cybersecurity professional. She left active duty service in 2019.

Courtney earned her Bachelors of Science in Political Science in 2019 from the University of Maryland, University College while studying full-time on active duty. She currently lives in Temecula, CA with her husband and daughter.
  • Courtney has made local job creation and small business support a hallmark of her campaign.
  • Courtney's governing philosophy is focused on finding the right people for the right jobs, safeguarding taxpayer funds, and leveraging technology to "work smarter not harder".
  • Courtney believes in public service over partisanship, and that the time for partisan bickering has long past in our electoral process.
Small business growth and local job creation, promoting the building of public transportation infrastructure, addressing the Southern California housing affordability crisis through informed and well-planned developments of single family homes, supporting our local educators with the tools they need to succeed, and dealing with the homeless crisis using evidence-based and humane approaches.
I look up to my mother, who was a woman from extremely humble beginnings. She ended up turning her working-class background into a career as a local radio personality in 1970's Minneapolis when she became Minneapolis' first female "rock jock" on the FM airwaves. She had several careers afterward and was always incredibly successful in everything she did. I also look up to John McCain, who was a man who showed bipartisanship at many points throughout his career, and who always stayed true to his core beliefs.
I believe that all elected officials should be willing to admit that they don't know everything, and that they instead will put the most knowledgable people they can find within their circles in order to guide and advise them. I also believe that office holders should be passionate and honest. We are tired of electing people who seek purely to enrich themselves through public office. It is time to demand that office holders return to "public service"- the understanding that they are elected by the people, in order to serve the people.
I am not motivated to run for office because of money or salary. I believe in this process for the simple love of the process itself, and that belief is what makes me a superior candidate and a superior official. I do not give up; I am a fighter to the end, and I believe in fighting for all of the constituents in my district. I didn't give up when it was time to build my marketing business, I didn't give up when the going got hard during my time as a Marine, and I will not give up on the people who vote for me and depend on me to make their voices heard.
I remember watching SCUD missiles light up the night's sky on television during Desert Storm. I was about 6 or 7 years old at the time.
My first job was at the A&W Restaurant in Pine City, Minnesota when I was 15 years old. I had it only for a few months, but it was great fun. I loved earning my own paycheck and took pride in my work.
Its the End of the World as We Know it- REM
My constituents should know that this office touches every part of their daily lives in this county. I take that responsibly very seriously as a future officeholder, and I promise to always maintain both a direct line of communication with my constituents, as well as trust and transparency of the office- something that has been sorely lacking from almost all previous Supervisors.
