Parisot's website highlighted the following campaign themes:

Jobs and the Economy

Craig believes our region can be the economic engine of our nation, and lead the world in innovation and advancements in technology and energy. We must keep the American dream alive for future generations by reducing regulations and taxes to grow jobs and increase take home pay. Craig Parisot is a small business CEO and entrepreneur who has helped lead two technology start-ups in the area. He employed hundreds of people and never missed a payroll. Parisot has real-world hands on business experience creating jobs, growing our economy, and balancing budgets -- something we need in Richmond.

Improve Our Transportation System

Fixing Northern Virginia’s transportation problems with real, long-term solutions must be a top priority in Richmond. Craig will hold our government accountable by making sure Northern Virginia is not shortchanged and we get the transportation funding we deserve. Craig specifically believes more needs to be done to relieve area traffic congestion, speed up the widening of Route 7, expand public transit, and reduce commute times in order to increase our quality of life and grow a vibrant economy.

Invest in Our Schools

Craig knows that a strong education system is key to attracting businesses to our area and building a strong and diversified economy. Craig’s plan for education will bring a greater focus to pre-K initiatives, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), and language programs at all levels while reducing class sizes for students and increasing spaces for in-state students at our universities. Craig will stand up for Northern Virginia by making sure we get our fair share of funding for education. Craig stands with parents to ensure that our children are competitive in the global economy when they become working age.[3][4]
