Craig A. Candelore is an attorney in San Diego, California. He ran for election to Office 14 on the Superior Court of San Diego County in 2010.[1]
2010 election
Candelore lost to Lantz Lewis in the primary election.[2][3][4][5]
Candelore, along with three other candidates in the June 8, 2010 judicial election, ran on an explicitly Christian platform. He says "We believe our country is under assault and needs Christian values. Unfortunately, God has called upon us to do this only with the judiciary."[6]
Endorsements
Candelore is endorsed for the court by Better Courts Now, a judicial accountability organization.[7]
Bar association survey
The San Diego County Bar Association performed a survey of 2010 judicial candidates. It found Candelore to be "lacking qualifications," the lowest rating possible. He claims the survey is biased.[3]
